Eaved House

The building which is situated in the Selimiye Quarters was built on medieval remains during the rule of the Ottomans. The distinct wide eaves of the mansion room face towards the street which the buildings name emanated from. The building has architectural feature of the Lusignian period on the lower level and the Ottoman period on the upper part. It was restored in 1996 and cureently it is an arts and culture centre used by people ans institutions as an exhibition hall, meeting room and similar activities.
