NTM decided not to do any street decorations in Nicosia by considering economic crises  in the Country.

NTM will not do any street decorations on the streets and roundabouts.

In contrast to previous years, this year Nicosia Turkish Municipality (NTM) decided not to do decorations for the new year in the streets,  traffic circles and roundabouts because of the economic crises. NTM Social Works and Culture Committee that came together to discuss the new year decorations, decided not to do any   decorations by considering crisis.

NTM made a call to the private entrepreneurs

Stating that the private entrepreneurs who want to make decorations at roundabouts in Nicosia may apply to NTM and that they can decorate the appropriate places which will be shown by the Nicosia Turkish Municipality, the Committee members emphasized that the decorations will be financed totally by the private enterprises.

The NTM Committee members who are continuing their works within the bounds of possibility, in order to provide the Nicosians with a happy new year, suggested to the private enterpreneurs who are in service in Nicosia, to decorate the roundabouts and the streets.
