Bulutoğluları: We will give no respite to the illegal water tankers

The Mayor of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality, Cemal Bulutoğluları accepted the members of the Union of Water Carriers by Public Vehicles of North Cyprus and listened to their problems. Stating that the establishment of  the Union of Water Carriers by Public Vehicles of North Cyprus is a positive development, the Mayor of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality, Cemal Bulutoğluları indicated that the inspections against the illegal water tankers will be increased by the NTM. Denoting that the number of the water carriers has increased nowadays, Bulutoğluları said that these people are selling water, which they supplied with unhealthy conditions, with a very low price.

Highlighting that as the NTM, they won’t give the opportunity to any trouble that may risk public’s health and that the Health Department and Permission and Inspection Department of NTM will implement serious inspections,  Bulutoğluları added that the Municipal Police will also be ready during the inspections. Emphasizing that the water carriers should get permission from NTM in order to carry the water, Bulutoğluları said that the water tankers of the water carriers who don’t have permission, will be confiscated and he added that they will give no respite to the illegal water tankers within the boundaries of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality. Saying that  “The human health is very important for us”,  Bulutoğluları stated that he has always been sensitive about the water issue and he  added that this year they also want to realize inspection for the drinking water. Stating that they delivered their complaints and demands to the Mayor, Bulutoğluları, Çilem Çakal, the spokesman of the Union of Water Carriers by Public Vehicles of North Cyprus, denoted that they got the promise of implementing their demands from Bulutoğluları.
