The Mayor of Şişli Municipality Mustafa Sarıgül and accompanying delegation came to the TRNC on the occasion of the death of founder president Rauf Raif Denktaş and also visited the Mayor of the NTM Cemal Bulutoğluları in his office.

Sarıgül: “One of the first step of democracy should be experienced”

The Mayor of Şişli Municipality Mustafa Sarıgül stated the importance of being elected as a Mayor over and over and celebrated the Mayor Bulutoğluları. Sarıgül stated that, being a Mayor is a very serious issue. “The Mayorship is a centre that the citizens may arrive effortlessly. The Mayorship is the first step of the democracy. I wish success to the Mayor Bulutoğluları. Hopefully, he will give service to the citizens of Nicosia in the 3rd and 4th periods” said Sarıgül.

Sarıgül mentioned that, they are in Cyprus to bid farewell the Founder President Rauf Raif Denktaş, and they are glad to see that TRNC and Turkey have strong relations.

Sarıgül also added that, the lostsof the Founder President Rauf Raif Denktaş is a sad issue, and they will give his name to the culture centre that will be built in Şişli. The culture centre will be one of the biggest with its 1800 people capacity. It is expected that the Mayor Bulutoğluları will attend the opening ceremony.

Bulutoğluları: “We have so many things to learn from the knowledge and experience of Sarıgül”

Stating that the visit of the Mayor of the Şişli Municipality Mustafa Sarıgül is an indicator of integrity of TRNC and Turkey, the Mayor of NTM Cemal Bulutoğluları denoted that the Republic of Turkey always stands next to the TRNC public. Indicating “We have so many things to learn from the Mayor of the Şişli Municipality, Mustafa Sarıgül’s knowledge and experience in local governance”, Bulutoğluları connoted that Sarıgül is a very successful Mayor. At the end of his words, Bulutoğluları thanked Sarıgül for his visit.
