Aiming to connect the whole city to the sewerage system, the teams of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality (NTM) implemented works within 24.359 meters area in the year 2011 and connected 2,090 houses to the sewerage system.

Besides “Kermia Pomp Station and Pressure Pipe”project, other projects “Haspolat Municipal Houses Pressure Pipe and Pomp Station Project” and “Haspolat Municipal Houses Mainlineand House Connections” were completed.

With the help of the pump station and pressure channel, waste water of the Haspolat Municipal Houses will be directed to the Haspolat Waste Water Treatment Facility. 3rd Stage Sewer Project was finished, and 25% of the 1st Hamitköy Sewer Project was completed the previous year. Moreover, 9th September Primary School, Bülent Ecevit Anatolian High School, and Private Education Foundation were connected to the sewer line, and 40    manhole lid and 10 broken water pipes were renewed.
