Nicosia Turkish Municipality, (NTM) will give the modern service to Hamitköy and Haspolat as well from September, 1st 2008. According to the law which says that all the villages will be connected to the municipalities, Haspolat and Hamitköy which will connect to the NTM, are going to meet with the municipal services on September, 1st 2008. NTM, will collect the garbages of Hamitköy and Haspolat twice a week periodically as they do in Nicosia. From the 1st of September, the garbages of Haspolat will be collected on Monday and Thursday nights, and the garbage of Haspolat Industrial Area will be collected on Tuesday and Friday nights.

The garbage of Hamitköy, the west part of Atatürk Street  (the part towards Nicosia), will be collected Tuesday and Friday nights, and the east part of Atatürk Street (the part towards Famagusta) will be collected on Monday and Thursday nights.
