The Nicosia Turkish Municipality (NTM) organized a new year celebration and entertainment for the disabled people living around the country with the slogan “There is no obstacle of Love”. Approximately 500 disabled citizens around the country attended the activity which took place in the Fair Ground. Kuzey Tarık, one of the most famou singers of our country, performed pro- bono and entertained the guests. Dj Burak Gezer performed before Kuzey Tarık and made the guests have a different day The Mayor of the NTM Cemal Bulutoğluları and members of municipal council Tülay Umut, Fatma Sabri, Celal Cin and Ali Kansu attended the activity and closely interested with the disabled people.

Bulutoğluları: To embrace the disabled persons, is a part of social municipal vision

The Mayor of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality, Cemal Bulutoğluları denoted that he is very happy to organise such an event for the disabled persons. Stating that within the framework of social municipal vision, this activity, which is called “There is no obstacle of Love”, embraces every segment of the society and aims to entertain the citizens, Bulutoğluları highlighted that local governance does not consist of just asphalt, pavement or water works.  Bulutoğluları said:  “We are serving our citizens within the framework of our possibilities. For this purpose we organised an activity called “There is no obstacle of Love” for our disabled citizens. Today I became happy when I saw  the happiness in their faces.
